Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport is ranked World's number one airport. Delhi International Airport Limited(DIAL), a GMR-led consortium falls under the highest category of handling more than 40 million passengers per annum. The DIAL was titled as the World's No. 1 airport in the recent survey by Airports Council International(ACI).
Airports Council International is also known as ACI is a trade association with 1953 member airports across 176 countries. ACI titled and honored the Delhi International Airport worlds number one after it took a survey of all the member airports on Airport Service Quality(ASQ), views of passengers on 34 key performance indicators are measured.
The ASQ network has nearly 75% of the worlds top 100 busiest airports as part of their network. Also, Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport was ranked World's Best Airport for Customer Experience.
Delhi International Airport also joined the 60-million passengers club when it hit a record high of 63.5 million passengers in 2017. Delhi Airport is also among World's Top 20 Busiest Airports.
