As for the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are expected to be nearly identical, though some differences do exist. The former is said to be available with 4GB RAM and two inbuilt storage variants- 64GB and 128GB. The former should have a 5.8-inch QHD+ super AMOLED display and the latter a 6.2-inch QHD+ super AMOLED display. Its processor would be 1.7GHz octa-core and battery would be 3000mAh. The Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ run Android 8.0 Oreo.
Samsung focused it’s unveiling on the bolstered camera. The camera features include updates to autofocus and settings that allow users to have more control over the camera parameters without having to go into pro mode. It has a feature that lets users take clear pictures in very low light by taking 12 photos at once and stitching them together to form a crisp image. Another key camera feature is super slow motion video.
Samsung has finally added stereo speakers to the Galaxy line. The speakers are tuned by Dolby Atoms and accompany a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Evan Blass reveals that the Galaxy S9 will have an optional “DeX Pad”, which is a dock that turns the phone into a touchpad when it is in desktop mode, powering a full sized screen and keyboard. The DeX Pad has an HDMI out, but no Ethernet port, unlike the existing DeX dock.
